That is true. The media is getting all over his case for this, but is leaving Mark McGwire out of it, a person who admitted to taking a steroid-type substance (Andro.) before it was banned. Barry’s just not well liked in the media. I mean, he is kind of a jerk, but so was Shaq, and Shaq’s awesome now.

maybe he trusted his trainer…bad idea, i guess. hopefully he’ll hit 50 home runs this year and pass a drug test, then i might not feel so stupid. i watched his press conference yesterday, and even though i believed him before that, i feel like i belive him even more. maybe some of the shit comes from his contempt for the media. if you watch the whole press conference yesterday and then read the excerpts they chose to print this morning you get a picture of how they are portraying this guy, not very well.

Good question. Why DO you believe Barry Bonds? How could a guy who is so meticulous about his body and what he puts in it possibly not know what the “cream and clear” actually were? How would he let that happen?

did you hear that ol’ jose is planning a pay-per-view event where he takes a lie detector test? sheesh. unfortunately, even though he’s a fool, i believe most of what he says in his book. the details are probably wrong (i doubt he stuck a needle in mcgwire’s ass) but the big picture is probably accurrate.
one last question, i can’t figure this out. why do i believe barry bonds?
