I completely agree with this. Had Reggie played in a different era like the 60s or 70s he would have been considered the best guard of his time. In my opinion reggie could have scored 30 points a game if he had been more selfish. He often volunteered to be the decoy in games. The only time he really demanded the ball was late in games. People in indiana trully know what reggie miller is about and his retirement was not about the end of a baksetball carreer in people’s minds it was about the end of an era. reggie miller provided people with hope that anything can go ur away at any given time. He did this in his basketball career and in his everyday life. I would even go on to say that reggie has meant more to the state of indiana and to the pacers than any other athlete has meant to their respective city/team. I was at his final playoff game against the pistons and that is a moment i will never forget. Most of the fans in the stadium had tears in their eyes as the game wound do, and had nothing to do with the game and had everything to do with reggie miller.
