Indeed, the demise of the independents, in the face of the huge "box" book store chains is nothing short of a HUGE let-down/disappointment!!! Box chains, like Barnes and Noble, or Borders, are bookstores without soul. The added information, that Bound to be Read is being replaced with a "Best Buy" derivative--the originator of the "box" store concept--is the most disappointing and disillusioning informational tidbit, of all. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( I whole-heartedly agree, with the assessment of the Bound to be Read bookstore in St. Paul closing!
