Have heard from other sources as well the Wages of Wins was not so great, kind of like a Moneyball that didn't quite work. Good to see someone blogging about books, and I like that you pick a wide variety. Some good books I've read this summer are "Overthrow", Bill Bryson's "Mother Tongue", and Graham Greene's "A Burnt Out Case". Liked Freakonomics a lot.
