Really? My jealousy boils over right now.

I'd look around at a few "getting your book published" magazines or books. You might want to find someone who can act as an agent. I don't know what Amazon would do as far as rights go, but you'd be guaranteed the best promotion out there by the biggest bookseller in the world. At least, I'd hope you would.

I'm guessing you did the artwork for it, right? Exciting!

touche, I'm looking to publish a childrens book. I found one web site called www.booksurge.com, an Amazon.com owned company that is a publisher. I want to get the process rolling, but looking for the first couple of steps.

Thanks,
Dave

Dear Dave,

Having never published anything outside of a book review in a free magazine, a provider directory for a major hospital, and countless bits of copy urging people to Stop Clotting with a Free Screen, I am quite unlearned in this department.

What an interesting question to ask. Do you have a book that is ready for publishing? It seems you may want to find an agent, first. Or, you can give it to me. If it's good, I'll put my name on it and give it to an agent for you. ;)
