I'm familiar with odd vehicle crushes as well. For me, it was the last generation Ford Probe. I wanted one for years, and when I started dating my now-wife, I bought a '94 GT thinking it would impress her. It didn't , but she married me anyway. I loved that car. I raced it Autocross events, and I still get misty thinking about it. Two years after I sold it (at my wife's insistence), I saw it parked at the Get N Go on Louise and 229. I recognized it from the SCCA sticker in the window I had put there. I ran in to find the kid to whom I sold it...only to find he had hitch-hiked home to Watertown after it broke down. Too bad.
