I adored My Antonia. I read it while in Texas, which also provided an appropriate visual landscape for my enjoyment of the novel.

I am jealous of your book club, can’t believe i’m missing it. Except if I were in SF, I would probably not have read the book yet (assuming, I would be allowed into the club) and spend my time worrying about not having read it instead of actually reading.
Let me know what the book will be for March. I just booked my ticket for Spring Break and would love to join you!

i sort of hoped for more of a review or an analysis of White Teeth because i know someone who is coming to the the first ever vilhauer-led book club meeting in early january that has yet to finish the selection…though i will not release his/her name. some people’s priorities, eh? geesh.
