The political process, as Gore stated, is paralyzed. It’s stuck. Money drives the policies, not information. Not constituents. Money. I waited for a personal example from Gore but never received it. You have to believe that Gore knows this from experience. Money drove his bid for the Presidency just as much as any other politician.

I would guess Gore hinted at this too, but don't know. The information we as citizens do have is tainted by the millions of dollars the oil and chemical industries have dumped into pseudo-research and misleading reports designed to generate questions about valid research and solid reports.

The tobacco companies did it for years, but not nearly as well as the chemical companies did it. Microsoft probably did a variation of it when they were trying to stir fear and doubt about IBM's OS2. There seemed to be a lot of posters on the old BBS systems who cared deeply about Windows.

For what we spend yearly in tax subsidies to the oil industry and the war and future expenses related to it, we probably could have the US running nearly totally on wind energy.

Bite your tongue, sir.

I tried to write for the Argus once. They apparently hated me. They never called back.

Wow. This is one hell of a recap. Maybe you should write for the Argus. You and Pat could share a pod.
