I hate going to concerts at arenas now because it seems like you don't get that connection with the artist that you seem to get when you see them play at clubs. I now pick and choose who I want to see based on what I've heard about their live performances and how much I like their music. I guess I've been lucky with my concert experiences lately; TV On The Radio at First Ave and LCD Soundsystem/Arcade Fire at Roy Wilkins Auditorium were great shows that got me even more excited about their music than I was before.
