When I first saw Twitter, I thought it was pretty stupid, and a waste of time. I've since changed my mind on it; it's not completely without merit. Mostly a waste of time? Maybe. But do I get to chit chat back and forth with my online friends, know what they're up to / thinking, and share the same stuff about myself? Yep. And it's fun.

I only use it when I'm at the computer, so it's not like I'm going out of my way to do it. Most of my updates can be typed in about 10 seconds, so I figure I'm not losing too much time to it. :)

Every 15 minutes?!? What?!? I'd dispute that, but I'm running out of characters.

Enough has been said about Twitter already. I just do it and thoroughly enjoy that. Twitter has nothing to prove; you can take it or leave it as you please. Just as gossiping at the water cooler or growing sideburns.

I'm sorry, but I think Twitter is evil incarnate. It is the ultimate manifestation of the decay of the American attention span and our obsession with the ephemeral.

Twitter needs to be stomped until it dies.
