I got up to 9,200 for a reason - I'm a completist. My personality is in direct conflict with only eight songs. That being said, I've already got everything backed up. Twice. Have it stolen. Make it crash. Worked for me. I lost about a similar amount of junk that way. Now all the music I listen to is on-the-fly, over the web, and all the music I own I know why I want it.
